Latex Mattress FAQs

Peace Lily Latex Mattresses are suitable for most bed bases, but not all. You must use a supportive and rigid bed base capable of supporting a heavier mattress and providing airflow. For slatted beds, make sure the slats are no more than 9 cm (3.5 inches) apart. Please note that by using no bed base or an inadequate bed base you can void your mattress warranty, so if unsure, please reach out to our friendly customer service team and they can provide more clarity based on your specific bed base.

No. We strongly advise against placing and using our latex mattress directly on the floor as this will inhibit air from circulating and could result in mould caused by moisture buildup. Placing the latex mattress on a proper bed base is a condition of the latex mattress warranty.

No! Our latex mattress naturally provides cool sleep. Due to the open cell structure of latex which allows for great air circulation, you’ll be less likely to sweat or get hot as you sleep. This also makes the latex mattress appropriate for all temperatures within New Zealand.

Peace Lily Latex Mattress is actually a flippable latex mattress, with two distinct comfort feels: Medium and Firm. Simply flip the latex mattress over to the side you prefer. Adding a Peace Lily Mattress Topper can provide further tailoring for a custom feel that is perfect for you.

We recommend unboxing the latex mattress within a few days of receiving it. As part of the warranty conditions, do not leave your latex mattress in the box for more than two weeks to avoid compression-related damage.
