The Peace Lily Story
From Farm to Mattress — Naturally Regenerative Sleep
Founded in 2018 by Migara (known as Migs), an engineer with a passion for sustainable design, Peace Lily began with a simple goal, to help people sleep better on a mattress made from natural, non-toxic, and organic materials, without the inflated price tag.
From Regenerative Farms to Restful Sleep
What started as a commitment to honest, sustainable comfort has grown into a full farm to mattress journey. With building a state of the art factory in Sri Lanka, Migs and the team oversee every step, from the regenerative farms where our latex is hand tapped to the final hand crafted mattress, ensuring transparency, worker care, and environmental responsibility at every stage.
Setting the Standard for Regenerative Latex
For more than 18 months, Peace Lily has been leading the way toward RLS (Regenerative Latex Standard) certification with regenagri, championing regenerative farming and manufacturing in Sri Lanka and proving that sustainability is not just a value, it’s how we operate.
Sleep That Supports People and the Planet
Regenerative farming restores soil, protects ecosystems, and provides fair livelihoods for those who grow and tap our latex. For us, that matters. When you choose a Peace Lily mattress, you’re supporting a system that gives back to people, the planet, and the land long term. We believe that’s how comfort should be made.
Setting a New Standard for the Future
As we look ahead, our vision remains clear: to set a new standard for responsible mattress production by expanding regenerative sourcing, deepening traceability, and supporting long-term farming partnerships. We’ll continue improving our materials, uplifting our communities, and strengthening environmental outcomes, ensuring that what we build today creates lasting value for tomorrow.
